Our Story

Old Chapel has been around for about 17 years. Initially trading as The Old Chapel Studios, we ran one of the South Coast's favourite music studios for many years. Founded by Sound Engineer and Producer Paul Burton, we welcomed many creative artists through our doors.

 

During that time the video and post production arm of the operation gradually took priority and with the decaying economics of the music industry the decision was sadly made to shut the primary music facility and concentrate on video and post production work. We do however still produce and write music for TV although this requires a much smaller space.

Our video and post production work has seen us working on internationaly realesed feature films and shows released at cinemas, on Sky and Netflix, right across to filming school plays and running around in panda costumes..

We also have a long heritage in live events, Paul was a touring sound engineer for many years and has mixed at some of the worlds most iconic venues including Wembley Stadium and the Hollywood Bowl. He also holds a Masters Degree in Post Production for Film and TV.. and a Seaplane pilots license.. for what it's worth. Live concert and event streaming are jobs we love to do. We have a great team who are ready to undertake any size of live event. We own a complete 5 camera VMIX/ Blackmagic system and as such are usually able to provide a solution for any size budget.
